Land is defined as a tract that may be owned, together with everything growing or constructed on it. It includes all natural resources and materials as well as the ground. All air, soil, minerals and water rights are included in the definition of land. Trees, plants, rocks and natural resources (any part not made by man) is considered land.
Land holds a unique role in economic, political, social situations. Since land supports all life and stands at the center of human culture, it is a valuable resouce without equal. Land was created by God, and is his gift to mankind. This enables people to produce food and build their homes.
Land is unique because of its limited supply. It is also static - it cannot be moved or destroyed. Land cannot be reproduced or manufactured by man. Land is one of our most basic resources, and a great source wealth throughout history.
